I’m so excited! My boyfriend and I have chosen where we’re going to go for our vacation next year, and we decided on Edinburgh! It’s gonna be great! I’m giddy as a school girl! I can’t wait.
We still need to pinpoint an exact time, but most likely end of April, beginning on May, depending on my work schedule. Weeee! I’m bubbling over with excitement (in case you can’t tell). It’s been so long since I last went anywhere (too long).
We’ve only done a very brief, on the surface, look for things to do while there, but some of the things I’m already excited for are Edinburgh Castle, Holyroodhouse Palace, the Edinburgh Dungeon (since I had so much fun in the London Dungeon), Arthur’s Seat, and the National Museum of Scotland. I definitely want to take various tours as well to places outside of Edinburgh, little day trip type things. I will gladly take any suggestions for things to see and do while we’re there.
We’re thinking we’ll stay for around 10 days, seems a solid amount of time. I’m looking into Airbnb places; I think it would be really lovely to stay in our own place rather than at a hotel, but we’ll be poking around and comparing prices and whatnot.
