Our trip to Edinburgh is officially and completely booked. I am so, so, so, SO excited. Dates are set. Flights are booked. Seats have been reserved. Place is booked. Time has been taken off of work. This is happening!
Every day since booking where we will be staying I’ve been going through the realisation and the re-realisation that I am going to Scotland! It still feels so unreal to me. This is happening. This is really happening. I cannot wait. It’s been so long since I last went on a trip, and I’m finally going away for a significant amount of time with my boyfriend, and this is happening, and oh my god! IT’S GONNA BE AMAZING!!
We’re staying in an Airbnb, because we thought it’d be cozier than a hotel, and the place looks great. We’ll have an apartment to ourselves, right in the heart of the city center (right next to the castle, eeeee), with heated floors, a decked out kitchen, and a really cool looking overhead shower. I love the idea of being able to make our own decadent breakfasts before heading out for a day of adventuring. The place had amazing reviews and I can’t wait to stay in it.
We’ll be leaving on April 24th and staying until May 5th. Two weeks of wonder, two weeks of awe, two weeks of Scotland! I am desperately awaiting the end of April.
Now all that’s left to do is figure out what exactly we’ll be doing, and that is by far the most fun thing about planning a trip. To the interweb!
