On Saturday, we headed over to Stanley Park to ride the Halloween train! This year’s theme was Alien Invasion.
The first thing we came across was a crash site, of a rather peculiar nature.
We were inspected to ensure we weren’t contaminated. My boyfriend set the meter off – I may have to keep an eye on him 😉
We went through a maze, with enough twists and turns to keep any alien from following us.
Then we took a spooky train ride through the park, gazing through the mists to spot any of our Martian friends.
What’s that in the distance? Uh-oh – they’ve come! We watched as they abducted a man, but the train whizzed away before we could save him.
Light speed! Quick, before they come after us too!
Our escape was thwarted by two tall dancing aliens.
The evening was a lot of fun, and we had a lot of laughs. If you’re looking for something a little more low-key on the scare scale, then the Halloween train is definitely a good place to start.
